I am also thinking on similar lines (Reg. Kitchen & Utility).

Whether the original kitchen sink is being shifted to utility? what abt the small sink for kitchen .... any make/model found...

r u planning to make dining balcony part of dining/living?

As regards bamboo blinds i had a talk with a party who said he can supply blinds with tarpaulin cover (to protect from rain/dust), but it will be opeue (when closed completely).

Could u pl. provide details about fibre/pastic blinds...

Kitchen & Utility:
Most of us are having the open kitchen and a closed utility room, and I noticed most of the dinning area is very close to the wash basin in the kitchen, which I am not very comfortable So I decided to keep one sink with granite platform in the utility room, which I will be using for cleaning the utensils and keeping the dustbin etc.
I going ahead with a basic Modular Kitchen and providing a small sink in the kitchen for general washing of fruits, vegetables etc.

I thought of putting bamboos blinds in common balcony and utility area, But the life is short and the bamboo blinds are heavy, so I decided to go with fibre/plastic ones which are not heavy, but looks like Bamboo.
