Great website..

I (and my son Mitchell) are only new to the Ocean Swim series. Mitchell had his first hit out at South Curl Curl a fortnight back and was thrilled to finish 2nd overall as a 14 year old. Last weekend he backed up at Avalon for 10th overall and is thinking about the 10k Cole Classic at Manly. Question I have is that he was placed 2nd in his category (U10-U15) at Avalon but stood next to Jake Nolan aged 16 who was awarded 1st place on the dais as winner, is that right..?

Also is there a specific number of swims to qualify for the Cole Classic..? As I said, he's competed at two swims for good results, is a member of the SNB Interbranch team and obviously loves the water
