This oil spill is a horrific evironmental crisis. It will affect, in
some way, every part of the planet, because the planet is a closed
ecosystem. This is why an international governmental body must be
created; to deal with issues that affect everyone and every aspect is
some way. Politics must be taken out of the equation, and effective
solutions found and implemented quickly.
Under the One World Government, environmental crises such as the gulf
oil spill will be handled by the Departments of the Environment,
Natural Resources, Interior, and, of course, the Oceans. The
Departments will be made up of experts in their fields from every
country, and solutions to the crises will be found.
Shared research will enable the widest perspective possible to be
addressed. Oftentimes the solutions to problems can be found from
outside the field better than inside. When you are in a crisis
situation, your perspective has narrowed. Looking from the outside in,
your perspective is wider.
In the case of this oil spill, for example, the most effective
solution may be offered from the medical field by comparing the crisis
to a surgeon who deals with hemorrhaging arteries.
