[Ocean Hurricanes] Hurricanes Update

[Ocean Soccer]

It was great to work with your daughters this Fall. The team made a lot of progress and hopefully the girls made friends, had fun, and have a greater appreciation for soccer. We are already looking forward to playing in the indoor league at Goodsports--here is what we have from the Goodsports site:

GIRLS
SUNDAY GAMES - 8 am to 4 pm
1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13

I wanted to make you aware of some changes. Colleen has been asked to start a U8 team this Spring. She has agreed and is excited to be the head coach of the new team. I know she will do well and appreciate all she has done for the Hurricanes. We will miss them both, but it is tremendous for OTUSA to finally get a U8 girls team started. It will certainly help us to better compete with other programs.

Also, Mike will become the head coach of the Hurricanes. I know his personality and organizational skills will continue to serve the team well. 

Dave S. has decided to step down.  On behalf of everyone, I'd like to thank Dave for all of his help.  His passion for the game and player development really helped the Hurricanes progress this season. 

I will continue to help the team in anyway Mike feels is appropriate. Thanks for all of your support during the first season.  I am really looking forward to watching this group of girls over the years.

Information on indoor will be circulated as soon as more information is available.
