big money rules the nation. I believe you should concentrate on
getting big money out of politics.
The person with the biggest bankroll usually wins the election - at any level.
Most congressmen and senators have considerable money. Do you believe
they are going to make laws that hurt them or the people/organizations
that pump money into their campaigns and even their high living.
We need to get back to a country that is run by regular people - I
believe this can be done by limiting terms for congressmen and
senators and it illegal for lawmakers to accept anything that has
value - even lunches paid by lobbyist. Make it illegal for lobbyist to
entertain or do anything with a lawmaker that cost.
Then remove the special benefits that lawmakers have given themselves.
Let them live on the same type of insurance and retirement plans that
most of us have.
