See folks, this is why we need messaging. With the first guy the reporter interviewed, the reporter had to prompt him to talk about what Monsanto was doing to farmers. Then the anchors back in the studio and the reporter were questioning the fact that Occupy seemed all over the place, protesting first Wall St., then student debt, then Monsanto. The second person had the perfect opportunity to say that all these issues were linked by one theme: corporate control of what should be human rights: homes, education and food. And the guy simply blew it. I'm sorry. But this is the flaw to a leaderful, horizontal movement. They missed an opportunity to make the connections and clarification for the rest of the 99% in Davis watching at home when the mainstream media gave them a perfect opportunity.
Can't blame the MSM here. http://www.news10.net/video/default.aspx?bctid=1513193791001

I met a guy at the B of A action yesterday who is one of the organizers. And I know Liz Ryder from MoveOn a couple years ago. She is no longer involved with MoveOn though. Anyway, I thought I'd check it out. They seem pretty organized.
