That's clean and polished language - should definitely be incorporated into existing language.

This was at the end of an article on the Women Occupy events today. I
thought it had some pretty strong and direct language for the mission
statement. Or do we not want to open up this can of worms?

Occupy Wall Street is part of an international people powered movement
fighting for economic justice in the face of neoliberal economic practices,
the crimes of Wall Street, and a government controlled by monied interests.
#OWS is the 99% organizing to end the tyranny of the 1%.

    Hey Wes,

I know how to edit, but I don't have the equipment (i.e. computer with
editing software). If you do, or know someone who does, I can do it. Then
again, anyone with editing equipment would probably know how to edit
anyway. But if my services could nevertheless somehow be helpful, let me
    know.

Was the picked to be a representative by their group, or simply the one the reporter decided to interview? Just another example of why you don't let the media pick your spokespeople...  While a strong speaker might have tied things together better, they also might have ridiculed any response on the cut-away back to the studio, or simply edited for the least coherent amongst the group.

See folks, this is why we need messaging. With the first guy the reporter
interviewed, the reporter had to prompt him to talk about what Monsanto was
doing to farmers. Then the anchors back in the studio and the reporter
were questioning the fact that Occupy seemed all over the place, protesting
first Wall St., then student debt, then Monsanto. The second person had
the perfect opportunity to say that all these issues were linked by one
theme: corporate control of what should be human rights: homes, education
and food. And the guy simply blew it. I'm sorry. But this is the flaw to
a leaderful, horizontal movement. They missed an opportunity to make the
connections and clarification for the rest of the 99% in Davis watching at
home when the mainstream media gave them a perfect opportunity. Can't
    blame the MSM here.

I met a guy at the B of A action yesterday who is one of the organizers.
And I know Liz Ryder from MoveOn a couple years ago. She is no longer
involved with MoveOn though. Anyway, I thought I'd check it out. They
seem pretty organized. Anyone want to come?
