The Ruckus Society, School of Unity and Liberation (SOUL), Mujeres Unidas and Causa Justa :: Just Cause, invite you to attend a training to grow our collective economic analysis and ability to participate in direct actions against the big banks. 

 

We are doing this as part of a national week of trainings and education being organized by national alliances like the National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Day Laborers Organizing Network, Jobs with Justice, United Auto Workers, SEIU, UNITE/HERE and MoveOn in preparation for the 99% spring. 

 

The goal for the week is to involve 100,000 people around the country in trainings that will hopefully build up to a series of actions against big banks happening in April and May, including the share holders actions against Bank of America in Charlottte, North Carolina, a share holders action against Wells Fargo here in San Francisco, as well as other dynamic local actions planned by activists, affinity and community groups around the Bay.    

 

The hope is that training participants develop a deeper understanding of the economic crisis and more importantly, build our skills to take action against the 1%! This training is geared toward people who want to learn more about direct action, people who are interested in corporate and bank accountability, and those who want to support direct actions locally. 

 

Training participants will hear about upcoming opportunities to put the skills you learn into practice.

The Ruckus Society, School of Unity and Liberation (SOUL), Mujeres Unidas y Causa Justa :: Just Cause le invitamos a asistir a una capacitación para hacer crecer nuestro análisis económico colectivo y la capacidad de participar en acciones directas contra los grandes bancos.

Estamos haciendo esto como parte de una semana nacional de capacitación y educación que se organiza por alianzas nacionales como la Alianza Nacional de Trabajadoras Domésticas, la Red Nacional de Jornaleros y Jornaleras, Trabajos con Justicia, Unión de Trabajadores del Automóvil, Sindicato Internacional de Empleados de Servicios, UNITE HERE y MoveOn, en preparación para la Primavera del 99%.

El objetivo de la semana es involucrar a 100,000 personas en todo el país en las capacitaciones que se espera que se acumulen a una serie de acciones en contra de los grandes bancos que van a ocurrir en abril y mayo, incluidos acciones a interrumpir la reunión de los accionistas de Bank of América en Charlotte, Carolina del Norte y la reunión de accionistas de Wells Fargo aquí en San Francisco, así como otras acciones dinámicas locales planeadas por grupos de activistas, de afinidad y de la comunidad alrededor del Área de la Bahía.

La esperanza es que l@s participantes de los talleres de capacitación desarrollen una comprensión más profunda de la crisis económica, y más de todo, desarrollemos nuestras habilidades para tomar medidas contra el 1%! Este taller está previsto para personas que quieren aprender más acerca de la acción directa, las personas que están interesadas en la responsabilidad corporativa y bancaria, y l@s que quieren apoyar a las acciones directas a nivel local.

Participantes de los talleres de capacitación aprenderán de las próximas oportunidades de poner las habilidades que aprenden en la práctica.
