Dear friends,
This it to inform you that the White flag activity has been agreed in Madrid.
1. We are going to meet today at 6 pm in Plaza Espanya to make the flags, along with other stuff.
2. Regarding the activity the action goes as follow:
The white flag might open the marches towards Sol, this was not fixed in Wednesday meetings, just recommended, because we had not time enough to agree with each assembly in the marches
Then, after arriving to Sol square, after a minute of silence the white flag will rise, as there will be not so many flags, people has been asked to bring along white pieces of cloth.
And a text will be pronounced (here is the draft of it in English)
“In foreign countries people are kiling each other, in foreign countries people are starving, and also foreigners influence heavily on us and on our living conditions, but those are outside our space of consideration, conversation, claims. For how long we can go on deceiving ourselves about what we are?
We want and we have to live together with all people in the world, we want to work together, to cooperate with all, and decide all together in consideration of the needs, interests and wishes of all and each of us. But we are divided in armed units called states each one with its own lies.
United, what need we have for the 200 armed units in the world? Armies are due to each other, or perhaps atom bombs or carriers are there to make lazy or disobedient people work? And, without armies we will no longer need inequality (hierarchy), this is to say injustice because it cannot be without threat. Those are our two problems, division and inequality, they feedback each other because they are actually the same problem.
The real problem to solve there is that each of us belong to one of those armed units or states and we are not on our own as human, therefore to make this simple proposal we need also first to rise the white flag.”
