When the marches arrived in Staten Island last night after being
shuttled across the Outerborough Bridge they were greeted by the NYPD
who trailed their every move. The plan to spend the night in a pubic
park was nixed, and members of Occupy Staten Island stepped in and
shuttled all the marchers to as safe location on the other side of the
island. There were no arrests and all the marchers are accounted for.
This afternoon the marchers have a short march of one mile to the Staten
Island ferry terminal, and after they travel by ferry to Manhattan they
have a final march of one mile to Wall Street. There are a number of
livestreamers with the marchers. When the streams go live, links will be
provided so everyone can watch. steve
