This week we will introduce some issues at the edge of the debate over
how to correct the economy, issues that affect us directly. This
includes issues such as taxation, energy’s impact on the economy,

IMMIGRANTS IN US LABOR HISTORY

In this class and discussion we will explore the question of immigrants
in US labor movements and labor history. As we look forward to the May 1
mobilizations, a day that has historically brought labor and immigrant
rights issues together in San Jose, this class will help us to explore
how these struggles are still deeply interconnected. (
