Tomorrow is the third session of our bi-weekly New Economies Class.
We will be taking up a discussion of globalization & its impacts.
The San Jose Peace & Justice Center is currently having their floor
refinished,
so we will relocate the class to El Sobroso Mexican Grill (17 S. 4th
Street, San Jose).

In this session we will examine what has led to the glut of
outsourcing that has ravaged our manufacturing industry in the past
two decades: globalization. We will begin to understand the impacts
of
free trade agreements, and why globalization is not the answer to our
economic problems. We will see how globalization has led to record
profits for corporations, while driving down wages and increasing
debt
for the working class in America. We will discuss why globalization
is
approaching the end of its growth, and what that means for the 99% of
