Ask your State Senator to sign a support letter to the Senate President!

Did you see this last week?
The We the People Resolution, S.2243 was given a favorable report from the Massachusetts Senate Rules Committee, thanks to your participation!
Now your help is needed to urge all senators to push for this bill get to a Senate vote this month!
Senate President Harriet Chandler will need to schedule this bill for a vote because it is not automatic and she could determine that it is not a priority in the time remaining this legislative session. The session ends on July 31.
The sponsor of S.2243, Senator Jamie Eldridge, has taken action again and is asking all senators to sign a letter that is addressed to Senate President Chandler urging that S.2243 be brought to a vote.
Call your State Senator TODAY (You can find your State Senator's phone number by clicking here, entering your address, clicking the "Search" button, and then clicking on your Senator's name.)
What to say:
Ask her/him to continue to call for a Senate vote in June for the We the People Resolution, S.2243. Ask him/her to add their name to a NEW sign-on letter from Sen. Jamie Eldridge that will go to Senate President Harriet Chandler. (They need to sign again even if they signed the earlier letter that was addressed to Rules Chairman Mark Montigny. So call again please!)
