Important meeting next week

[We the People Massachusetts/North Shore]

Our February meeting will be at the Beverly LIbrary on Wednesday the 17th at 7.  We have a number of agenda items now and more may be added.

A. Our legislation H3127 was mugged when--without ANY input from the public, the House passed legislation about campaign finance without any mention of corporate personhood. This was done suddenly in ONE day: Feb. 3  Our response will be reported on at the meeting.

B. The borders of the different sections of WtPMA are being finalized and a map of them should be available.

C. The Statewide Coordinating Team wants us to nail down what N. Shore is going to do about Democracy Spring. Mike will get materials out. There is a LOT to think about.  We voted at the last meeting to participate in this movement.  You can learn more at http://www.democracyspring.org

Mike said, "We are facing the most momentous year since 1968 in American politics."  We need to determine how we are going to address this!
