Here is a proposed agenda for tomorrow's meeting. The meeting doesn't
necessarily have to be in this order, but I think everything here
should at least be touched on, even though it's a long list. If
there's anything I've left out, please add it on:
1. Check-ins (10 min.)
2. PSU Earth Day Event Tabling on April 20th - coordination, materials
needed, etc. (10 min.)
3. Possible Earth Day Events on April 22nd by Food & Garden Team? (5
min.)
4. Roto-Tiller rental and gardens that need it - coordination (10
min.)
5. Garden Updates - priorities, organization, etc. (20 min.)
6. What to do with produce and other food stuffs that we are growing -
ideas and visioning for free farmer's market, free CSA, or other modes
of distribution (20 min.)
7. Multnomah Food Summit Presentation Proposal (20 min.)
8. Axcelle From OP Coordination will be talking with us about the
Occupy Portland orientation that his committee is putting together,
and offer insight into how our team can be better coordinated with the
rest of Occupy (20-30 min.)
9. Bradley Manning Surprise Party - food coordination (5 min.)
10. Occu-Nomics Workshop at UU - food coordination (5 min.)
11. Mayday - Food Team doesn't have anything specific planned for this
day, but there is definitely going to be one or more reoccupation
attempts, and we should have a short discussion about what this could
mean for Food Team. I attended a short meeting on reoccupation today,
and have some insights to share (5 min.)
12. Monsanto Actions, May 5 & 6 at Canby Fair Grounds - Is there
support for a Food & Garden Team action, and if so, what should we do?
(10 min.)
13. Fundraiser on June 2nd - program, flier, etc. (10 min.)
14. Closing (5 min.)
I know this is a lot to cover in one meeting, but we don't necessarily
have to be comprehensive with all topics, and if there's something we
don't get to here, we can attempt to finish discussion over the
weekend while we're in the garden or tabling at PSU.
I hope everyone is well, and I can't wait to see you all tomorrow!
Hugs,
Adam
