I'm seriously crying tears of joy right now. This is a small victory,
but we're winning. Other groups around the country targeted
McDonald's on that day, and our concerted efforts had a very clear
impact. Thank you to everyone who helped make the McSoup Kitchen
possible!

More to come on Friday's garden party at St. Francis. Keep on
rocking! You guys are the best team ever!

Love you all,

Adam

Correction: this is a HUGE victory - McDonald's is one of the largest, most well known corporations ANYwhere!!!! WAY TO GO EVERYONE!!! GREAT work Adam! So sorry I can't physically be part of it any more, but I'm with you in spirit big time.

Piggybacking on this happy news, speaking of physical abilities, although I can't walk or wheel myself (in manual wheelchair) more than 2 blocks without injuring from this lousy condition (sigh, I still need to get a power chair), I found a neat little electric Razor scooter that I just used to get to my new accessible community garden plot on my own for the first time on Tuesday - woo hoo! This is personally huge, as it means I'll be able to tend my little patch much better on my own now. (It was just a few blocks too far, otherwise, bleeping EDS).

Here's to more victories big and small in the year ahead, rock on everybody, keep those gardens growing - nothing worth doing is ever easy, hugs,

Thank you, Jan! I'm so glad to hear that you're able to get to your
garden - that's huge. We miss you! I hope we'll be able to see each
other soon.

Big, big hugs,

Adam
