Work Party - Sunday, July 8th

[OPDX Food Team]

Hi all!  We'll be having two work parties this Sunday, July 8th.  The first will start at 1 PM and will consist almost entirely of late summer/fall crop planting.  The second will start around 4:30 and will involve raspberry picking, some more late summer/fall planting, and setting up drip irrigation at one of our sites.  Email opdxk...@gmail.com for the addresses of these garden sites.

Also, Food Team is now partnering with Marjorie from Food Not Bombs on the Tuesday dinner at the vigil in front of City Hall.  We served together last Tuesday and it was a lot of fun!  There are now 40-50 people sleeping on both sides of City Hall every night, and the vigil is growing into another occupation.  If anyone would like to help with the Tuesday feeding, especially cooking a meal, please let us know. We have rice, pasta, tomato sauce, and some produce from our gardens that we'd be willing to kick down.
