Hey all!  I'd like to introduce Norm.  He's one of the Poughkeepsie community organizers, working on sustainability.  He's part of the Reclaim Earth/Occupy Sandy team helping with the Transition Town coordination between Bard College, Poughtown, Wassaic, and Omega.  Bill Henry, Eco and I have been developing relationships throughout the area.  There's a very good trusted network of farmland to coordinate for next growing season, along with a great opportunity to work with Solaqua (a 100,000 square foot sustainable tech factory space that is headed by a 1960's Bard Alum).

Tonia is a veteran environmental advocate and steward of the entire county, who's literally made this whole effort possible.  She's fought hard to keep the water safe.  It would be great if everyone gave a brief introduction.  The next Transition Town gathering is soon, Tonia may be able to share the specifics on that quicker than I can find it in my "To Process" pile.

Eban I don't want to overwhelm you.  There may be a Bard CEP maven who you think should join this discussion.  I've vouched for Bard being a major hub for the Hudson Valley Transition Town plan.  Much to discuss and coordinate this winter for Spring.

Just so you all have my number - 661-LGHTSRC.  Norm will help facilitate the discussion, scheduling etc!

TALK SOON!
