Hi all,

Time banking is something that many of us have been interested in. It presents an alternate approach to economic exchange where everybody's time is valued equally and one hour of work earns you one hour of service. Participants can create offers and requests for any services they come up with. There is a local time bank launching on April 15 that sounds like a fantastic opportunity to engage with our community. I attended an orientation this week that laid out the system and its philosophy. They spoke of creating an alternate economy and valuing every person in society. That is something we can get behind!
