Hello everyone,

I do apologize for the short notice, but my campaign has kept me super busy.

I just wanted to let Peninsula folks knows that Save Pete's Harbor will be featured at this year's UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival) after a film showing TONIGHT in Palo Alto.

Although the film is about local anti-nuclear activism in Palo Alto in the 1980s, the event will also feature a talk moderated by the lovely Paul George and feature four local activists from Redwood City, Mountain View, East Palo Alto, and Palo Alto.

I will be there representing RWC and talking about the Save Pete's Harbor struggle. Although Paula Uccelli has removed the outer harbor docks and the last liveaboards were recently evicted, the struggle to ensure that maximum feasible public access to our bayshore is retained goes on.

(For those of you who have been assisting me on my campaign, please keep in mind that although I am running for council in RWC I will not be speaking about that tonight and this is not a campaign event for me. So no handing out fliers or wearing buttons or anything please.)

Although people needed to RSVP, according to the event organizer there are 40-50 open seats, and usually about 10% of the reserved seats end up absent as people don't show.

So if you can come or know of people who can come at the last minute, please TELL them to come! Here is the event info for tonight, please spread the word:

Thank you and I hope to see some of you there!
