Hi Everyone,

It is time for us speak out - to stop the proposed ban against vehicular dwelling, and to create a city that is caring, not exclusive. Stop the criminalization of our unhoused sisters and brothers!

TIMELINE

TODAY: Today is a good day to email city.c...@cityofpaloalto.org and tell them you do NOT want to see a ban on vehicular dwelling, which will only criminalize those without a home.

TOMORROW: Aug 3, 2-4 PM
Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, 505 E. Charleston.
Planning Meeting - We will:
        - assign some last minute tasks
        - prepare and coordinate our messages
        - make signs
        - talk briefly about the future for our group

MONDAY: Aug 5, 6 PM  RALLY AT CITY HALL PLAZA BEFORE THE COUNCIL MEETING! Between 7 and 8 PM, we'll take our seats in City Hall, fill out our speaker cards, and tell council why they should not enact a ban on car dwelling.

Everyone - we need your voices.  And we need to prepare you that this will be a long night - eat before you come, and be patient for your turn to speak out against the ban.
