Hey all! GEO Group (private prison firm here in boca raton, one of largest in nation):

GEO Group Shareholder Meeting 

9am, May 4 

Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach

Here's some info from last year about GEO's primary shareholders from the National Prison Divestment Campaign, which is helping to organize. Would love to see us take this on in Palm Beach, including Occupy, Earth First!, Prison Book Project, the Immigrant groups, etc. Not sure if there's a lead organizing it, we probably have to step up on our own, can get some support from this group called Enlace and the Florida Immigrant Coalition.

1st Sundays of the month at 4pm

 Ironworkers Hall, 1001 W 15th St, Riviera Beach 

Carol & Eddie Strict are involved. I told Eddie about the overlapping with Prison Book group on Sundays 2:30 and they would like to collaborate!
