Hi there,
I'm a reporter at The Huffington Post in Washington, D.C.
I've been covering the OWS movement nationwide.
I'm doing some research on the locations where cities have
tried to shut down Occupations and cited drug addicts, the
homeless, and shady characters are a reason to shut them
down. I'm trying to find out whether these cities have
adequate social services for the homeless and drug addicts
to go to otherwise. I know Occupy Oakland has done some
protesting against cuts to social services.
Would there be anyone involved with Occupy Oakland that
might want to speak to me about this? Or perhaps know more
about how social services are in Oakland?
Thanks!
Tyler
