In this week’s Sunday paper, it was announced that this week the Bay Area News Group's Readers Forum question is: “Do you support the Occupy Oakland movement?” Letters in response must reach them by 3 p.m. on Wednesday February 8th.
Results of their Readers Forums are usually published on Saturdays. They publish some letters plus a bar graph showing the percentage of total “Yes” and “No” letters they received.
Letters can be emailed to tri...@bayareanewsgroup.com (no attachments) or faxed to 510-208-6477.
Letters to the Editor is one of the most-read sections of newspapers. The paper in the last week has been filled with mostly anti-Occupy letters. Some positive letters presenting the other side are needed.
Letters must be 175 words or fewer and include your first and last name, address and phone number.
Occupy Oakland Research Working Group has prepared a fact sheet that documents the positive ways that Occupy Oakland has served the community since it began.
