This is hugely helpful. Has anyone written a brief press release for
today re-inforcing these points? I'd be happy to email it to our
press-release list.

Echoing whomever (Caitlin etc.) encouraged us all to keep these press
releases *short* and *frequent*.

This PDF packet is great, and it serves a different purpose from our
text-only press releases. Crucial to keep those interviewed on the
same points.

Yes, there should be a release and the media team should be down at the plaza, especially at key times (4:30-6:30P and 9:30-11P for TV).  There should be a Press Conference scheduled for tomorrow morning.  I suggest at 8:30AM to focus attention of the media, stress that this is designed as a "Peaceful Day of Protest", and encourage as many Bay Area residents as possible to attend during the day.  Such a media hit can increase our attendance and support.
