Jump out the work/school/shopping/bank/chores wheel today!
Whenever you can, join the celebrations today for a world where work is fair and willful! We do not have to participate in a socio-economic system that creates poverty, scarcity and inequality: Sometimes the best way forward is to stop!
In solidarity with International Workers Day, (De)Occupy Honolulu will be hosting May Day!
Meet up at Thomas Square
Bring your leis and flowers for our Wishing Tree!
10:00 am, sign making
11:00 am, Food Not Bombs
01:30 pm, Labor March
04:00 pm, live music by DJA2Z, Rich Rath, Seph 1, Laulani Teale, Serotonin Ronin, Kevin Richards, Dylan Pilger, and you! Bring down your peoms, songs, instrumentals, performances, speeches and more!

FYI many from (De)Occupy Honolulu right now are not in Thomas Square but in Kapiolani park (at the City's May Day Lei Day) to ask back the Kānāwai Māmalahoe banner (in attachment) by artist Raul Gonzalez and other art by Micheal Delay, taken away yesterday by HPD from Thomas Square.
Celebrations and concerts will follow in Thomas Square anyways!
