March/Rally for Human Rights

Saturday, December 10

Kalakaua & Kuhio at 10am

Occupy Honolulu will be hosting a march & rally in Waikiki on Saturday, December 10 in solidarity with the International Human Rights Day of Action. We welcome all individuals and groups who resist those that violate our human rights. Let’s gather in solidarity and stand together to make our voices heard. Workers’ rights are human rights. Students’ rights are human rights. Veterans’ rights are human rights. LGBTQ rights are human rights. Womens’ rights are human rights. DisAbility rights are human rights. Civil rights are human rights. Sovereignty rights are human rights. Housing, healthcare, and education are human rights.

We will meet at Kalakaua and Kuhio at 10am for a rally and then march around 11am. The big banks and hotels (and the corporations that own them) who promote the violation of our human rights for profit will hear our voices today. Please join us as we stand up to protect the human rights of all people. We are the 99% and we will not be silent.
