Please consider peacefully protesting the NDAA detainment bill, which is counter to our first amendment constitutional rights, and demand that President Obama veto this bill before it becomes law in the new year.
Occupy Honolulu will be joining World Can't Wait for a peaceful protest tomorrow (Saturday 12/31 from 10 a.m. to noon) taking place in Kailua near the Obama's vacation home:

Protest at Obama's TOMORROW morning! Here are the details from World Can't Wait. People should feel free to join forces and come out to let the President hear our voices!
"World Can't Wait has called for a signholding/protest near Obama's residence in Kailua from 10-12am tomorrow morning (Saturday). Their residence is on Kailuana Street. It's usually blocked off way before the residence and so the protest will probably be at the corner of Kailuana & North Kalaheo. A lot of people pass by that intersection so it will be seen. Unless Obama is gone, there is usually a lot of media hanging around and previous protests at his residence have gotten a lot of national/international coverage.
To get to the site take Pali Highway and go straight thru Kailua town until you dead end. Then turn left on Kalaheo. Kailuana Street is just before the bridge before Aikahi Shopping Center. People generally park at Aikahi Shopping Center and then walk back to Kailuana. A couple of cars will be leaving Revolution Books at 9:15 for those who want a ride.
World Can't Wait will bring signs against torture (Jan 11th is a big national day of protest against torture), and the wars. There should be some signs against the suppression of the Occupy movement.
