Thanksgiving! 1LegProductions sincerely invites you and your ohana to join our premier film screening on this coming Thursday, December 1st @7:30pm, at the Arts of Marks Garage. 

Premier Film Screening: Art For Resistance  
 
A film about a group of academics, artists and activists coming together in Honolulu to present alternatives to what APEC stands for. The group creates spaces for art demonstrations and critical conversations while the city produces the stage for the APEC forum. Through the Occupy Wall Street momentum the community unveils the power of the many.
 
Discussion will follow with the 1LegProductions film crew moderated by Jaimey Hamilton (UH Arts Professor and ALTERNA*APEC leading organizer).
 
This screening is part of SPACES of HOPE, Filmmaking for Planning Research and Practice, a practicum offered by the UH Department of Urban and Regional Planning.
 
Doors open@7:15pm; Screening@ 7:30pm.
