Any Food Not Bombs chapters, Occupy groups, or others have capacity or know of anyone in the Uptown area who could serve some meals in Uptown in direct response to this bullshit? I can bring it up with Rogers Park FNB this weekend, but it's going to be hard to replace a service that is providing lunch Monday-Friday. I think anyone who decides to do it would need to be ready for a fight with the Alderman. Maybe even a one off action would be a worthwhile endeavor to let Alderman Cappleman know that displacing the poor is not a solution to the homelessness caused by our dirty rotten system.

What do others think? Anyone interested in mobilizing a response?
