Tonight, we're thrilled to play host to economist and former Margaret Thatcher aide John Blundell.

Blundell ran the Institute for Economic Affairs in the UK (one of the very first free market think tanks!), which was recently described by the BBC's Andrew Marr as "undoubtedly the most influential think tank in modern British history." He is the author of “Margaret Thatcher: A Portrait of the Iron Lady” and his new book celebrates the women in our movement: "Ladies For Liberty: Women Who Made a Difference in American History."

John will discuss how women have played an intrinsic role in the movement for liberty and his friendship with Lady Thatcher.  Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.

We hope that you'll join us, along with our friends at the Illinois Policy Institute, the Heartland Institute, and the Reason Individualism Freedom Institute tonight at 5:30pm at the Library (40th Floor) at 190 South LaSalle in Chicago for this great event.
