PEOPLE'S PLANNING MEETING FOR MAY DAY

Co-hosted by Immigrant Worker Justice & 99 Pickets

Last year on May 1st, thousands took to the streets in a historic convergence of immigrants, workers and Occupy Wall Street. We came together to support worker and immigrant struggles, and fight the injustices of the 1%, exclaiming "Another world is possible!"
To build on that powerful solidarity, 99 Pickets and Immigrant Worker Justice are calling a community-wide May Day planning meeting on Feb. 28.
Let's create an open and inclusive space where we can coordinate planning and build momentum for an incredible May 1, 2013. All our grievances are connected!
Who's invited: Workers, immigrants, Occupy, labor unions, students, worker centers, social justice groups, the unemployed, community organizations: the 99%.

El 1ero de Mayo del año pasado, miles tomaron las calles en una convergencia historica de inmigrantes, trabajadores y Ocupa Wallstreet. Nos juntamos para apoyar las luchas de los trabajadores, de los inmigrantes y pelear las injusticias del 1%, aclamando "Otro mundo es posible!"
