Hey guys,
I'm starting a group called "Pop-up Occupy." The plan is to put together a mini-Peoples' Library and mini-Food Not Bombs and travel around to the new "satellite" occupies, such as SFU, UBC and Capilano U. These occupations only last for one day or less, which I believe to have significant advantages to having a continuous occupation. There is also a roadmap for much bigger events, but since these involve sensitive negotiations, you'll have to contact me privately to discuss them.
The first step is to start supporting Occupy SFU every Wednesday afternoon.
We need volunteers, cars, a tent and supplies. We will be using this Google Group, various Facebook groups and our own BetterMeans to organize for this project. I'd like to encourage use of BetterMeans as our primary forum.
