The K Street lobbying firm Clark, Lytle, Geduldig, Cranford has crafted a remarkable pitch to the American Bankers Association (ABA) to combat anticipated political troubles for the 1% in the upcoming election cycle.

Here's the MSNBC segment that broke the story: http://j.mp/vQgoo8
Here's the memo itself: http://j.mp/vXvGwR

It should be understood that this memo appears to have been an unsolicited pitch offering lobbying services, and therefore not representative of the ABA's actual perspective.  Nonetheless it emerges from that milieu and is instructive, especially as regards specific tactics for performing opposition research within the OWS context.  It also betrays an important misunderstanding of the movement's principles of consensus decision making and grassroots funding.

Worth the read.  Especially as it reinforces just how much we're winning.
