to Occupy...@googlegroups.com, occu...@googlegroups.com, occupy_v...@googlegroups.com, occupy-bur...@googlegroups.com, burlingto...@googlegroups.com, burling...@googlegroups.com, occupy-burlington-f...@googlegroups.com
I am sending to all of the lists I am on. To ask everyone to join a
general purpose list, either or both of occupy-burlington-vt and
occupyvt. The problem is that right now, when we need to announce to
everybody (a date and time for GA, for example), notices are going to
every list. If everybody were on the general purpose lists, this would
not be necessary.

Toward this end, I wonder if occu...@googlegroups.com is intended as a
general purpose group for the entire state? This could be desirable,
and if true, we in Burlington (especially) would want to avoid posting
our narrowly local stuff here. Are there differences of opinion on this?

Anyone who is on more than one list and feels inclined might check to
see if they are on a list I am not on, and forward this letter to the
list I have not included.

This subject will be taken up by the Media and Information working
group, for more in depth consideration. In the meantime, this request
comes from me personally!
