So, there was language in the proposal that passed last night that
urged all working groups to have regular weekly meetings that will be
open to the public. I think we should begin discussing a time and
place for this. I've become quite partial to the seating areas next to/
in front of the fed, because the are very conducive to discussion of
both small and large groups. I can personally meet anytime after 430,
any day of the week, and anytime Sat or Sun.

7 is a time I can pretty reliably be downtown. It looks like Monday,
Wedensday, and Friday are the non-GA evenings as well as Saturday and
Sundays during the day. It seems like the middle of the day on
weekends will often be full of marches and events, so I suggest we
steer clear of those. I could commit to any one of the weekdays and
perhaps sunday afternoon/evening GA at 5. what do you all think?

Monday, Wednesday and Sunday evenings work well for me.

Awesome! We might find a time that really works!  Monday after 7 works for me. Sunday afternoon also is doable.

What do people think about Monday night at 8 PM? We need to discuss
what the mission of this group is and how we are going to move
forward.

My proposed agenda for the meeting is as follows:

1) Introductions
2) What do each of us envision as the mission and objectives of the
ideas working group?
3) What is the best way for us to move forward addressing all of the
proposed objectives?
4) How will we maintain our online presence?
5) What day and time will work for a regular group meeting time?

I have made my ideas about the direction of this group

I love this. But alas, I can not make it. But I love the direction.

Are people still OK with the idea of the "old SPP" group focusing on
specifics and
mechanics of various "ideas" that have come forth? And letting them
work in
parallel with "ideas"?

I sort of want to know so I can organize the wiki. I don't want to lose
the list of ideas
that's been generated from all over, nor the detailed work that SPP
members have
done. Nor the energy of the team...

Sounds good. There is some overlap between ideas and facilitators and facilitators is meeting at 7, so I would suggest that we meet at 8:30 rather than 8.

I concur, I'm also involved with the facilitators so I would just
worry the meetings would overlap. 8:30 sounds perfect, and we can move
it earlier for the coming meetings if necessary.

so lets say 8:30pm today across the street @ the Fed? (where the
facilitators meet as well)

thoughts?
