fyi, SPP, Ideas, wiki?, YAGI Message Statements

Hey,

I'm thinking about you all on site on this "challenging" ;) day.

fyi: I have tried to get the SPP meeting 10/31/11 posted on the
calendar and to get Outreach (?) to post some fliers on site. No luck
yet, hopefully soon.

Based on what I'm hearing, or rather not, now, I think (warning: Yet
Another Great Idea) I will ask whomever shows up on Monday to approve:
1. disbanding/merging and 2. asking Ideas to use the Message
Statements on the wiki as the basis for forums, one for each, so that
those voices are not lost. It feels like the folks who posted Message
Statements on the old wiki, some of whom are on site, have not piped
up, which gives me that "not inclusive" feeling.

I didn't see an Ideas Working Group on the new wiki....I think what's
there now for SPP should be made Ideas/SPP, until after the Monday
meeting....unless something else is in the works?

Off Topic (because I imagine someone's listening) I'm also trying to
get Arts and Culture moving, by VOLUNTEERING (!) to be the contact,
putting a few ideas on its wiki space, asking Outreach (correct
group?) to post fliers on site...but no luck....I'd be so happy to be
involved in generating some buzz before Mooo Ya Moola day....

If you go to the SPP page, the link to the "statement of purpose"
page has most of the info and is starting to be active. For "other" ideas,
the SPP page has a list of specific policies, etc. The goal was to have
a list of links for SPECIFIC ideas for regulatory change, and GENERAL
ideas about purpose, goals, etc.

I haven't foundthe page that I was working on sorting out whether an
idea was/is a "human right", a "protection of a right", an "action", or
whatever.

If you find it, please let me know. I started with the UN declaration
and then
started integrating the miscellaneous text from other idea/rights
statements.

Of course, leaving the reference doc intact, which I hope people will do out
of respect for the proposer, as well as to allow easy reference back to
the original.
