Colette,
Thank you so much for your food offer for our event this weekend! We are so appreciative of your willingness to support us.
We plan to serve the food during our General Assembly meeting at 3 PM on Sunday afternoon. If we could plan on the food arriving around 2:30, I think this would be perfect! The meeting will be held on the Korean War Veterans Plaza. The food table will be set up near Tillary St., between Cadman Plaza East and Cadman Plaza West.
If you could provide the menu that you were discussing yesterday, I will get together the necessary people to help receive the delivery. If necessary, we have access to a car and can pick up the food directly from your location. A delivery would be very special, but we're blessed either way!
My phone number is 610-945-7803. Please don't hesitate to call if you need any more information!
Best,
Dara Silbermann

Dear SuperWings,
I'm writing to you today on behalf of Occupy Brooklyn to request a food donation from you for our upcoming event this weekend. This Saturday and Sunday (November 12th and 13th), Occupy Brooklyn is teaming up with local community organizations for a weekend of direct actions, teach-ins, rallies, arts events and theater performances.
Our hope is to provide food throughout the weekend in a dual effort to pique interest in the event and to provide a good meal for those who might not be able to provide for themselves. We're soliciting food donations from establishments in our communities to increase participation in this growing movement. We expect to have about 200 people to feed for two meals on Saturday and one on Sunday.
We would so appreciate any food donation or subsidized purchase you might be able to provide. We realize this is a bit last minute and we understand if we can't make arrangements on such short notice. If the timing doesn't bother you, and you're interested in joining our efforts to organize the Brooklyn community, please be in touch!
Best,
Dara Silbermann
