I got a change to meet with Amy Laura Cahn of the Garden Justice Legal
Initiative this afternoon. She's lined up a fabulous team and is
inviting us to participate at one of their public sessionsn in the next
2 days. From what I learned today, if you can make it to one of these
venues, I highly recommend it.

NYC's 596 Acres and Philly's Garden Justice Legal Initiative are
collaborating on a Philadelphia web tool (paired on-the-ground
organizing) to make vacant land and land access information transparent
and accessible. We would love your feedback! We want to better
understand the information needs of community members who are passionate
about using vacant land in Philadelphia to build community, increase
food sovereignty, and reclaim land from blight in disinvested areas. We
also need help naming the tool! There are two immediate opportunities to
participate in a visioning session:

Thursday, February 7th 6-7:30pm
Southeast Philadelphia Collaborative

Meenal, with I could make it. My daughter dislocated her knee and her whole leg is in a brace. So, I'm kind of limited to our house for a while. I do have experience with web design and database / online form management - much of which I can do from home. Please forward my contact info to anyone who would like to reach out.
