1. Pance will complete the change for item #1.
- add new email
- make it prominent
- combining committees under “Contact Us” (Action Committee will be
rolled into Action Working Group)
2. Occupyto.net and occupyto.info (others?)
- Shaun will get a list of domains he’s registered related to
occupyto
- Shaun will send Ryan the list including current registrar
settings for each
- Shaun and Ryan will coordinate to setup mail (google apps) for
these domains
- Shaun and Ryan will coordinate to also direct these domains to
the existing website

Pance attended “TechSoupCanada.ca” talk on setting up donate buttons
and registering as a non profit or a buisness.

Bottom line we need to set up an account as a vendor that can accept
checks,
Shaun - thinks we need to do business with a company branding
themselves on green issues and social justice.
MH - is a little cycnical about green branding.
Pance - said PayPal was best fit for us.
Shaun - said he thought VersaPay had a good fit for us?
Pance -talked to the guy at VersaPay two days later and they had
chaged their position.

Proposal:
OccupyToronto set a donate area that has PayPal and offer routes
around for people who don’t want any percentage of their donations
going to the big banks and finacial co’s like PayPal (re: WikiLeaks
cave-in)
Finance committee should set up an account with PayPal and we will
find other options as in at diaspora.
An option available: you can pay at a GA in cash, anonymously
Michael will provide a concise, ‘poetic’ explanation of risks involved
in donation tracking, for those who may have such concerns or would be
unaware of gov’t profiling activities.

6. Problems joining committee
We looked at Michael’s view login-in (as an author) and member numbers
showing for all committees are indicating “1”. There is no icon LIVE
in any of the committee areas, such as ‘join’, or ‘post’.
R and P are tweeking with as we speak.
Shaun says PayPal are sources for the national security state.
R - no way out.
S Liberty reserve is outside of that appartus
M- they have a way to track everyone - there is no privacy - only
democracy, rule of law, social justice lobby and the media to protect
activists.
R getting very busy, we all nominate Pance to have server access that
R has now for emergencies.

Hosting service bill needs to be paid for coming year - ends Tues. Feb
