Occupy The Hood Boston is currently accepting donations.
Spread this far and wide, if we can even get $1 from 2000 people we can meet our goal!!!
We are raising money to spread the word, expand our reach and organize our community around
issues of Education, Criminal Justice, Housing, Employment, Crime, Violence, Civic Engagement, etc.
Thus far plans are money raised will be to print a newspaper to inform and engage our community
* $1200 for 10,000 newspapers
* $1000 for Food Drive to purchase high quality foods at a low price to distribute to families in need
- Any money above those amounts will be distributed to worthy causes and efforts and will be announced when we meet the goal. (ex: Youth Programs, Shelters, Schools, etc.)
- All monies spent will be accounted for publicly via images of receipts/invoices, bank statement, etc.
- 10% of any funds collected by Occupy The Hood Boston will be donated to Occupy The Hood National for similar national efforts
