Dear friends of RGNC:
Sunny Wallick, a member of RGNC and also a member of Citizens' Action for Peace, has arranged to have the film, "Is Walmart Good for America?", shown at the Redlands United Church of Christ this Sunday afternoon at 1:30 pm. I hope you all will plan to attend the showing of this film which is a PBS production and should be a very high quality film. Your presence there as a representative of RGNC is important. Further, you can help to answer any questions that might arise about Walmart's business practices, how they harm communities, and about the current attempt to build a supercenter in Redlands.
If anyone would like to make a donation to help us with our costs in paying for some professional reports prepared by experts in economics and engineering, they can write checks to Redlands Good Neighbor Coalition. They should know that we are NOT a 501C3 and so their donations are not tax deductible. We are happy to accept any donations from $1 to $1,000 or more!
Please let everyone know that they are invited to attend our meeting on Monday night, Feb. 13, at 7 pm. And I hope we see you there also!
One more thing - we would really appreciate your help in getting the word out about this film by forwarding this attachment to your contacts. We must continue our effort to educate the community about this issue.
Thanks for your continuing support in our effort to keep the Walmart supercenter out of Redlands.
