JOIN US TODAY 5.6.16 FOR A RALLY AND PRESS CONFERENCE TODAY
AT PARK PLACE AND BROADWAY(Near City Hall) 4PM-6PM
As we confront our #OneTermMayor and City Council over
their alleged YES Votes on MIH/ZQA(Mayor DeBlasio's Gentrification Plan) in exchange for PAY RAISES

We are calling this rally to demand an investigation into the alleged connection of recent pay raises given to New York City Council Members in exchange for YES votes of MIH Mandatory Inclusionary Housing (Mayor DeBlasio's controversial plan for 'Affordable Housing' in New York City which passed on March 22, 2016).

Ironically, this same city council gave itself that pay RAISE MAYOR DeBlasio began facing possible indictment on campaign finance and corruption charges and currently has 6 open investigations on his office

Meanwhile the rest of us ask, how is even 15$ a Hour Enough to live here amid ever increasing rent, inadequate salaries and wages, that rent burden and threaten to displace many..

All of these issue raise several questions for millions across the city:

1. Whose ultimately the decision maker for the city, The mayor and/or city council? Or the People?

2. Why does Wall Street and Real Estate Developers continue to dominate city planning, decision making while NOT paying their share of taxes while becoming more and more powerful and wealthy?

3. Why does the theory or trickle down development from Real Estate Corporations (ALWAYS) have to be at the center of such development?

4.What role did the over 30% pay raise have to play in getting most of the city council to pass MIH/ZQA?

5.Where is the democracy, voice and power of the people in all this?

Join us May 6, 2016 at Park Place and Broadway as we demand a formal investigation of the link of Pay Raises to YES votes on MIH/ZQA.

This will be followed by a Assembly at 60 Wall Street at 7PM
