Central Library in brooklyn is opening a new "info commons" space on tuesday jan 15.
They have seven meeting rooms with a flatscreen you can reserve up to 1 month in advance for a max of 2 hrs. one of those meeting rooms is an audiovisual recording studio complete with camera and microphone. Only caveat are most of those rooms are tiny with a max (mode) occupancy of 6 ppl, largest room is a 12 seater, smallest is the recording studio fitting 2 people.

They also have imac and pc workstations with multimedia software loaded on it incl. photoshop cs6 and adobe premiere pro. the computer stations are max 60 minutes per user.
