Its release was delayed for a week, but here at last is the Occupy Sandy
episode of Occupy Brooklyn TV:

The Sandy segment begins at 8:02, after a piece on Occupy LA's
anti-foreclosure action on October 25. It uses many excerpts from several
videos already published as well as previously unreleased footage by Renée
Renata Bergan. For those of you who have already seen these videos, this
segment will be like a remix of familiar tunes. Hope you all like my VJ
work!

[Lauren Steiner]

The YouTube description says Oct. 25 action.  It was Nov. 9.  Can you change that?  Also, in the intro, why didn't you say, "Lauren Steiner, our correspondent from Occupy LA was in the march and filed this report."

No, I never said Oct. 25.  But you can still say that intro even if I'm not on camera.  You hear my voice, and it's weird not to introduce the person who's narrating the whole piece.  Anyway, too late now.

The Sandy piece was excellent, Atiq, just excellent.  You really let the people tell the own story.  It is a completely different style than mine, more cinema verite.  But it really worked for this piece.  It showed so clearly how the leaderless, horizontal nature of Occupy can turn ordinary citizens into organizers and can bring communities together.  And it showed really clearly how the government really doesn't give a shit about poor people.  Well done.
