Thanks for the update, Atiq, and welcome, Svetlana!
So, what is the schedule for the next couple weeks? Are we still shooting on Mondays at BCAT until the season is over?
I had to unexpectedly leave the country last week to attend a funeral, so I couldn't help with the last shoot or attend the editorial meeting.
Thanks!

Hi, everyone. I've informed most of you, either in person or via Facebook, but as Melanie pointed out to me yesterday, I'd forgotten to announce this over the listserv, so for any of you who don't know:
Svetlana Finelt, a video editor who recently joined the movement through Occupy Sandy, has agreed to step up and bottomline the show. Say hi to her if you haven't already. She's going to Orientation at BCAT tonight and will take the Studio Production class open. We have already raised the funds for her tuition.
Svetlana is also offering her apartment in Chelsea as an office space, so we will at last have a central meeting and work spot. We will soon be planning our weekly schedule and establishing regular office hours. We also are looking into the possibility of shooting the anchor segments there, which will make our production a LOT more flexible and should enable us to make a more visually engaging show, since we can shuck off the limitations of BCAT's studio equipment (Melanie is also looking into doing shoots at her work studio).
I am spending a lot of time training Svet and familiarizing her with the movement, which of course further strains my workload in the short term. Episode 2.09 is delayed a week, but we have done a lot of work on it, so we have a big jump on the new work week.
I still plan to scale my hours here down to 20 hours a week or fewer, but am resigned to the fact that the scaleback probably can't happen immediately with Season 3. But my health is already becoming a higher priority of mine, so whatever requires 3 or more consecutive nights of sleep deprivation on my part just ain't gonna happen. I think with Svet in charge we can get to the point where that won't be required of anyone.

Cheers
