The Fair Food Program will launch it's 2014 Annual Report on Thursday Dec 11th at the City University of New York Graduate Center. Join Lucas Benitez, co-founder of the Coalition of Immokalee Workers, Sean Sellers, co-founder of the Fair Food Standards Council and Judge Laura Safer Espinosa, Executive Director of the Fair Foods Standards Council for the report release.The release will be followed by a round-table discussion moderated by Cathy Albisa Executive Director of the National Economic and Social Rights Initiative.

The Fair Food Program pioneers a new and growing form of human rights protection known as Worker-driven Social Responsibility, where workers, whose rights are at issue, play a central role in defining how their rights are monitored and protected. With the explosive investigative report about farmwork in Mexico released in the LA Times this week, we are reminded of the urgency to move towards this new model for real, measurable, worker-driven social responsibility.
