C.R.U.S.H. INVITATION AND Deepening the Conversation ~ PV, Violence, Mike Brown ~ Eric Garner

Hello Friends.

I'd like to extend this invitation. Im sorry this is so late, but its just developing. Better late than never. After all, its all about inviting!

A group of dear friends (folks I find unique/exceptional) and I have been working at early conversations on building a very large --- Member Driven, Free, Open, Community led Group called "C.R.U.S.H." --- in Harlem/Washington Heights (a long explanation). We are beginning this very innovative work out of the Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Education Center in Harlem Washington Heights.

In August, members of the early C.R.U.S.H. Group (who work organizationally and freely in Activism/Social Justice broadly) took responsibility for organizing and getting a large contingent of people, from the greater North East, to Ferguson MO.

More, they were to lend there experience in organizing, evaluating, quelling tension, shaping directions and,,, etc. These folks are armed with particular skills, same or similar to the participatory skills being considered in Staten Island, around the Eric Garner situation. PATTERNS emerge..

They intend to share in their experiences, learning and what they saw, heard and felt. Others are encouraged to lend their experiences. The AIM is creating space for further sharing and deepening of conversation, at this gathering! Should be a good thing!

I want to invite you ALL to this circle up, debrief, conversation (see CRUSH link)! It IS the beginning, perhaps, of deeper farther reaching conversations about a very current, pressing and complex subject. A conversation that matters. I'd be honored if you'd attend to lend your wisdom thoughts and experience! At the very least, it'll be a unique opportunity for critical connections with like minds, and MORE.
