Did you know that I teach yoga? Sometimes I forget until a friend of mine blurts it out and reminds me in a somewhat embarrassing way. The great thing about forgetting that I teach yoga, is that it brings me back to the basics - D.T. Suzuki always reminds us that a "beginners mind" is the best approach to the path that leads to enlightenment (or freedom from suffering).
Well guess what, I'll be finally teaching a regular class here in Oakland and it's right in the neighborhood (at least mine). I feel honored that my teacher asked me to teach in his new studio right down from the Grand Lake Theater. Please share and come support me!

LA Yoga Don't worry, that's not the point nor a requisite of yoga.

No fancy titles, copyrights or affiliations - just yoga. It's by donation, so everyone can have access. We will weave breath,
awareness, and movement together to develop a deeper alignment
between body-mind-spirit. Throughout class you can expect to discover a
deeper understanding of your own body and thought patterns. Discover
what it feels like to be centered/balanced through dynamic movement
and stillness. You'll likely sweat some, breathe deeper and smile
more. Sarwang's classes are always open to All Levels and ALL BODIES.
Space is held for the intuitive wisdom of your own body to emerge,
leading to greater degrees of freedom, trust and awareness.
