Hi all

Does anyone know if there are any yoga teaching insurance policies that covers malpractice liability for not just myself, but also the facility that I teach at?  So far, I've only found policies that cover myself.  Is it a facility's responsibility to get their own coverage?

If you have any experience with this, please let me know thx!

Yes, the facility should have coverage for itself.  There are tons of places that will cover yoga.  Many 3rd party companies end up with insurance from Philadelphia Insurance Company, so the fastest route might be to just go through them.

Teachers should NOT have to get coverage for more than themselves.  Your coverage should cover you no matter where you teach.

Feel free to ask me more as a studio owner!  :)

This is who I use. I have not compared with others but two yrs ago this was a great deal. Quick n friendly. They may be able to help with the facility question too. Don't forget liability insurance is a tax write off!
