From time to time the Las Cruces Tea Party invites guest speakers to address the membership. Being invited does not necessarily mean that the speaker's subject or point of view represents that of the Las Cruces Tea Party and should not be construed to imply any endorsement of same. The Las Cruces Tea Party encourages the expression and discussion of a wide variety of points of view, however insights into any official position on it's part should be based on a reading of article 3 of our bylaws. To quote: "The LCTP is a non-partisan group dedicated to promoting the principles of limited government, fiscal responsibilty and restraint, as well as individual freedoms and liberties guaranteed to the citizens of the United States by the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. The LCTP provides information, promotes self-education, involvement of the public at all levels, and provides a forum where American citizens have a chance to be heard."

The Las Cruces TEA Party operates as a social welfare organization organized under section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to The Las Cruces TEA Party are not deductible as charitable contributions for income tax purposes.
